We support the United Nations convention on the Rights of the Child.
The convention has 54 articles which come together to tell countries what they must do so that children can grow up healthy, happy, fulfilled, protected and have their voices heard.
We teach our children about their rights and how to respect the rights of others.
We currently have our Bronze Rights Respecting School Award (RRSA) which means that we are 'Rights Committed'. We have an action plan in place to achieve our Silver Award this year, and have been thrilled at how our children talk about their rights in our school.
As part of our award we have a parent's steering group who help to spread the knowledge and understanding of children's rights. We can always make room for one more and would love your support with this.
