We are really happy with X's progress and happiness at Highters Heath Nursery. He is confident and happy to be attending. X has strong relationships with the staff, especially X, and talks about his experiences at home. X is happy to give honest accounts of negative incidences at nursery too, which means he's not made to feel punished or embarrassed about making mistakes or having conflict. Thank you for helping him to thrive and feel part of a welcoming community.
Everyone that works here is so wonderful and genuinely care about the children first and foremost, I think finding people that you can trust to look after your children is one of the most daunting things to have to do, and something I have really struggled with but everyone at the nursery have made that so much easier. It is such a loving and safe environment that every time I have been in, which is a lot now- the kids are all so happy and it's starting them off with the very best setting for their education in the future.
The staff work incredibly hard to get everything right for all of our children and families. However, with multiple young children and a busy school environment, occasionally things can be overlooked. Most school complaints don’t start as complaints — they start as confusion, worry or a feeling of not being heard. If you have any worries or complaints, please speak to a member of staff as soon as possible. The sooner that we are aware of an issue, the quicker we can support with rectifying it.
If you would like further support or advice regarding how to approach a concern, please see the Parentkind guide to school complaints.
You can also find a copy of our complaints policy in the policies section of our school website.
